A day in our home
There’s no strict schedule here — residents wake up when they’re ready, take their time getting dressed with as much help as they need, and enjoy breakfast at the dining table. Mornings often bring coffee on the porch, light exercise or a walk around the yard. After lunch, some residents rest while others play cards, work a puzzle, watch a favorite show or visit with family. Evenings are calm and cozy, with dinner together and a relaxing routine before bed.
Comforts of home
- Comfortable bedrooms that residents can decorate with their own furniture, photos and keepsakes
- Family-style dining with three home-cooked meals a day and snacks
- Shared living spaces for conversation, television, reading and games
- Outdoor space for fresh air, sunshine and gardening
- Housekeeping and laundry handled for every resident
- A quiet neighborhood setting in Anna, Texas

Activities that matter
Activities in a small home are personal. Instead of a printed calendar for a hundred people, we plan around the residents who live here — what they enjoy and what they’re able to do on a given day. That might include:
- Music, sing-alongs and favorite old songs
- Gardening, watering plants and time outdoors
- Puzzles, cards, dominoes and board games
- Gentle chair exercises and walks
- Baking, folding laundry and other familiar tasks that feel purposeful
- Reading, devotionals and faith traditions
- Birthday celebrations, holidays and family visits
Meals made with care
Good food is one of life’s great comforts. Meals are cooked in our kitchen and served at the dining table, so residents can enjoy each other’s company. We pay close attention to appetite, hydration and dietary needs, and we love hearing about family recipes and favorite dishes.
Family is always part of the picture
Our home is your loved one’s home — and you’re welcome here. Stop by for lunch, bring the grandkids, or call to see how the day went. We’ll keep you updated and celebrate the good days with you.
