A home, not a facility
When a parent or spouse can no longer live safely on their own, families in Collin County often feel they have only two choices: keep stretching themselves thin at home, or move their loved one into a large building with hundreds of residents and a revolving door of staff. Collin County Assisted Living was created to offer something in between — a real home in a quiet Anna neighborhood, where a small number of residents receive attentive, personal care every day.
Our home looks and feels like the houses our residents raised their own families in. There’s a front porch for morning coffee, a dining table where everyone eats together, a living room for conversation and television, and caregivers who know each resident’s name, story and favorite things.
Our mission
Our mission is to help seniors live safely, comfortably and with dignity in a loving home environment — and to give their families peace of mind. We do that by keeping our home small, our routines flexible and our care personal.
What we believe
- Dignity first. We help with daily tasks in a way that protects privacy and lets each resident do as much as they can for themselves.
- Every person is different. Care plans are built around the individual — their health, habits, preferences and history — not a one-size-fits-all schedule.
- Families are partners. You know your loved one best. We listen, keep you informed and welcome you as part of daily life in our home.
- Consistency matters. Seeing the same familiar caregivers every day builds trust, especially for residents living with memory loss.
- Honesty, always. From pricing to changes in health, we give families clear, straightforward answers.
Why families choose a small residential home
In a large community, one caregiver may be responsible for many residents spread across long hallways. In our home, residents are never far from help. Caregivers notice the small things — a change in appetite, a quieter mood, a new difficulty standing up — and respond early, before small problems become emergencies.
The setting is also easier to navigate. Seniors living with dementia often do better in a smaller space with fewer people, less noise and a predictable rhythm to the day. And for families, visiting feels like stopping by a relative’s house — not checking in at a front desk.

Rooted in Anna and Collin County
Anna is one of the fastest-growing towns in north Collin County, but it still has the friendly, small-town feel many seniors love. Our location makes it easy for families from Anna, Melissa, Van Alstyne, McKinney, Princeton and Sherman to visit often — and keeps residents close to the doctors, specialists and hospitals they already know in McKinney and the surrounding area.
